About Michael
Specialising in Small Business, Commercial, Residential and Investment lending, Michael offers solutions that look at long term strategy and strategic loan structures and prides himself on negotiating the best rates possible for all of his clients.
Michael is passionate about getting the very best for his customers and as a business owner, avid property investor, and a local to Newcastle and the Hunter Valley, he understands what is important to his customers.
Prior to Innovative Home & Business Finance, Michael has had more than 8 years’ banking experience in Senior Roles including Bank Management & Business Banking.
While climbing the corporate ladder Michael gained the experience he has today, he saw there was more he could do for his customers:
“I started Innovative Home & Business Finance because I want to be able to give the best to every one of my customers every time, regardless of what lender is right for them. I believe that customers should have a choice of having expert advice, the right loan structuring and not just one loan product to choose from. To me, there is no such thing as the easy option. When it comes to getting you the best possible loan & interest rate, I will use my background knowledge and experience to negotiate on my customer’s behalf every time to get them the best deal.”
Outside of Innovative Home & Business Finance, Michael is a huge sports fan – particularly rugby league, soccer and cricket. Having grown up in Maitland, Michael is passionate about giving back to his local sporting clubs and schools and currently sponsors Bolwarra Bushrangers Junior Soccer Club and St Mary’s, Maitland Senior Rugby League Team.
Michael also loves to spend his weekends with his family and boxer dog Arlie.

Ashlee holds over 10 years of Banking/Finance experience with the major banks Westpac and ANZ. The years in finance has enabled Ashlee to build a broad knowledge base and perfect the experience she offers to her clients.
Ashlee focuses on the full financial picture to ensure that all areas of finance are complimented, including Home & Investment Lending, Personal Finance & budget management.
Ashlee is a great communicator and always works hard to get the absolute best for her clients.
Outside of work Ashlee is a local in the Hunter Valley, she enjoys spending time with her partner Luke and their dog Zeke, they enjoy fitness and travelling together.

Originally drawn to the industry 5 years ago, Chloes passion and drive in Lending, stems from helping her clients achieve their financial goals.
Chloe is known in the Innovative Office for her no fuss and diligence in always getting the job done. Having qualities of sharp wit and a great sense of humour, Chloe always makes people around her feel comfortable and at ease.
Outside of work, Chloe loves spending time with her husband John & two dogs Turbo & Evie.

About Hayley
Starting as an associate with Innovative Finance, Hayley progressed her way to a Senior Associate and now a Mortgage Broker.
Hayley worked with our Managing Director over the past 12 months and has successfully completed her apprenticeship into being a Mortgage Broker.
Hayley is passionate about getting to know her clients and working with them to achieve their financial goals and finding the best outcomes to meet their needs.
Hayley’s knowledge, attention to detail, dedication & genuine care for her clients is what will see Hayley succeed as a well regarded Mortgage Broker in the Maitland/Hunter Valley area.
In her free time, Hayley enjoys taking her 3 kids out, making the most of a summer’s day at the beach or park. As a foodie, Hayley enjoys trying new restaurants with friends and sampling new menus across the Hunter.

Having originally worked in recruitment across a number of roles, Abby developed an interest in finance making the shift from recruitment to mortgage broking earlier this year.
Working with all of our Mortgage Brokers, Abby’s role as a Broker Associate has her working side by side with each client from initial contact to well after they have got the keys to their dream home or Investment property. Abby is passionate about getting to know her clients and working with them to achieve their financial goals.
Abby’s knowledge, attention to detail, kind and caring nature is what makes her a highly respected member of the Innovative Team.
Outside of work, Abby loves being active whether it’s going to the gym, walking with friends or hitting the slopes to snowboard during the colder months.
She enjoys spending time with her partner Toby & her friends whether its at the pub, beach or at a game of footy.

Emily is one of the founders of Innovative Finance and has been instrumental in building the foundations at Innovative.
Emily started her career in finance as an Operations Manager at Westpac before transitioning across to Innovative.
Emily is methodical in always looking for ways to improve client experience & to ensure clients have the knowledge, understanding and confidence to make the best decision for them & their circumstances.
Recognised at Industry Awards over the years Emily is our process expert. Emily is a key leader within the Innovative Team and is always working to enhance our vision & strategy.
Emily is vital to the team and is respected for her hard work and ability to get the job done.
Outside of work Emily loves spending time with her family, cooking & enjoying a quiet wine.
